Finance Management in Mining Industry - CFMMI (For contacts: cfmmi@gaia-expert.com)
organized twice per year in April-May
and October.
In 2002 the Conference was held in

PARTICIPATION FORMS

Every scientific paper and poster must
be preceded by an Abstract: the abstract has to present
the main subject of the paper. The abstract volume
must not surpass 15 lines (excepting the line and the
name of the author, format A4, 60 characters per
line.) The abstract have to be written in English
language. The Review Committee will evaluate
the abstract submission in the conference program
and the authors of the approved papers shall be informed.
Scientific proceeding: Once the abstract
has been approved, the author must prepare and send
his full manuscript. The articles will be accepted only
by Internet - please use one of the E-mail addresses
of the Conference. Authors must present the
manuscripts in one of the working languages in maximum
8 typewritten pages (format A4), including: abstract,
real text, charts, drawings, and reference.
Article formatting
The Summary must be submitted in a Word
processing file using MS WORD for Windows 95/97/98/2000
as follows:
- Script: Times New Roman.
- Title: Capital letters, Bold, 12 pt, centered.
- Author(s): Name, Family Name, Capital letters,
10 pt, centered. - Address and E-mail address:
Italic, 10 pt, centered. - Free line. -
Summary: in language different from the article
language: 10 pt normal. - Base text: normal,
12 pt. - Free line. - Reference: normal,
10 pt. - Caption of the graphical applications:
Have to be on a separate sheet, in two languages,
one of them must be English; 10 pt, normal.
Graphic materials: Every
graphic material as chart, drawing, photo and table
to accompany the paper must be in separate attach file.
The only accepted formats for every image file are:
TIFF, JPG, PCX or BMP, min 600 dpi.
Poster: Every paper that
is intended to be present on poster session must be
submitted in a word processing file for using either
ÌS WORD 95/97/2000/ÕÐ or Àdobe ÐD (maximum paper
format A0). Note:
Every poster material must be printed and formed by
the author(s).
ÐARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION
Enrolment for participation in the conference should
be done by the following way:
- Registration Form, attached
to this "Site", and copy of the bank transfer
documents of the conference's fee must be mailed
to the address for correspondence.
The confirmation of registration shall
be done after the copy from the bank transfer document
is received on the correspondence address. Every registered
participant shall obtain a Personal
Identification Number (PIN).

Conferences
The local (inside the country)
Conferences were organizing on irregular basis depending
by the actual needs of industrial and entrepreneurs
societies. Up to now 2 local conferences were organized,
in 1991 and in 1994.

Two up to four day’s seminars
on Corporate Finance Management are usually organized
two times (in February and November) per year for
the Mining’s Industry fraternity and Academic people.
No restrictions about the participant’s applications.
Usually the number of participants is between 15 and
25 persons.
An International
Seminar on Quantitative Risk. Analysis, Assessment and
Management - QRAAM is organized in May and
October every year.

The new seminar will be held in May 9-15,
2004 in collaboration with the International Banking
Institute, Sofia, BULGARIA.

Training courses usually between
4 and 5 day’s on Credit’s Risk Management for bankers (including Monte
Carlo simulations, and Theory of Decisions, Option
Pricing etc.) in collaboration with the International Banking
Institute, Sofia, BULGARIA, was given since 2000, two times
per year, in July and December. The participant’s applications
was restricted up to 10-12 persons.

Risk Assessment and Discount
Cash Flow Analysis course in 30 hours (including Monte
Carlo simulations, and Theory of Decisions, Option
Pricing etc.) in collaboration with the Economic Department
of Sofia University
"St. Kliment Ohridski", Sofia, BULGARIA, was given since 1998. For one
academic year 2 courses start: from November till
March, and from April till July.
